The European Union may grant a deferral of Brexit until December 31, 2019. As noted, not a single country in the EU objects to this initiative.
“This was shown by the meeting of the EU’s permanent representatives on Tuesday [April 9] in Brussels,” the source said.
He added that most are inclined to give London a respite until December 31.
It is emphasized that the United Kingdom will have to accept the condition: if the country does not participate in the May elections to the European Parliament, then it must leave the EU on June 1.
Earlier it was reported that the British Parliament approved the transfer of Brexit.
