Trump praises trade negotiations with China

US President Donald Trump said trade negotiations with China are taking place in a favorable manner. He wrote about this on Twitter.

However, the American leader added that Washington should not rush to conclude a trade agreement with China.

According to him, China is now paying the United States a fee of 25% on goods and products worth $250 billion, so there is no rush.

Moreover, the United States may introduce an additional 25% duty on China’s products worth $325 billion, Trump said.

Earlier, Trump announced his intention to increase duties on a number of Chinese goods. After that, Chinese barges collapsed by 5%.

Recently, China said it will respond to a U.S. duty increase.
