The reason for the detention of the head of the criminal investigation department in Primorye is given

The Investigative Committee has confirmed the detention of the head of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Primorsky Territory Andrei Milyaev.

The official representative of the UK Svetlana Petrenko explained that Milyaev was detained on suspicion of receiving 5 million rubles from a businessman.

“According to the investigation, Milyaev informed his acquaintance of a private entrepreneur engaged in deforestation in the Primorsky Territory about the inspections planned by law enforcement agencies,” said Petrenko.

The criminal case was opened under the article “Abuse of authority” and he faces up to 4 years in prison.

Earlier, the Federal Security Service and investigators of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia caught and detained the head of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Primorye, Andrei Milyaev.
