The Supreme Court of Ukraine examined the lawsuit of a citizen of Vinnitsa Sergey Schetinin on the cancellation of the results of early elections to the Verkhovna Rada. According to the information received, the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court of Ukraine after the meeting opened a case on the suit of Shchetinin.
The appeal of a citizen of Vinnitsa notes that the Constitutional Court was guided by an unofficial version of the constitution when deciding on the recognition of the decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada and the holding of early parliamentary elections on July 21.
According to Shchetinin, the holding of parliamentary elections in July actually violated the right of citizens to freely express their will.
Earlier, the Ombudsman was summoned for questioning to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
