A spokesman for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that so far no decisions have been made to ban SSJ-100 aircraft.
Peskov noted that the decision to suspend flights of a particular model is not the prerogative of the president.
Answering a question whether President Vladimir Putin believes that flights of the Sukhoi Superjet should be suspended, Peskov replied that only specialists and special aviation authorities can do this.
He added that we need to wait for official conclusions about the cause of the emergency in Sheremetyevo.
On May 5, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 airliner, flying to Murmansk, made an emergency landing at Sheremetyevo with tanks full of fuel. After touching the ground, it caught fire. As a result of the incident, 41 people died.
The Investigative Committee called the main version of the emergency landing.
