The Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, Oleksandr Danilyuk, said that the country’s president, Vladimir Zelensky, is not going to default the country.
According to the official, the Ukrainian side will continue cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.
“This is important for citizens of Ukraine, who will be sure that the economic and financial situation in the country is stable,” Danilyuk said.
He added that it also matters to investors.
Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said that in the event of a default in the country, Ukrainians will suffer.
