London imposed a ban on the supply of underwater submersible vehicles in Russia, according to the website of the British Export Control Authority.
The document states that the restrictions will apply to the import of finished products, software and technologies.
According to the report, these actions pose a threat to British national security, and the restrictions introduced should minimize the risks.
It is noted that last year, NATO has already reported a threat to the safety of underwater communications due to the “activity” of Russian submarines.
According to members of the North Atlantic Alliance, Russia “shows interest in the underwater infrastructure of NATO.” Russian experts have denied this statement.
Earlier, the Su-27 was not allowed to approach the NATO fighter to the Shoigu plane over the Baltic.
