Putin accused the West of blackmailing African countries

Russian President Vladimir Putin is confident that Western countries are oppressing, blackmailing and intimidating African authorities. He stated this in an interview with TASS.

According to the head of state, the West is trying to intimidate Africa to regain lost influence. Putin emphasized that Western countries also want to occupy dominant positions in the former colonies in order to “exploit the continent without looking back.”

“They are striving to pump out super profits,” Putin added.

The President noted that Russia sees everything and draws appropriate conclusions. Concluding, Putin said that the Russian side is ready to cooperate with Africa, as the country has something to offer African residents.
